Meet Leaf Bee

Leaf Bee enjoys flowers, honey, music, and spending time with her family and friends—even her twin brother, Liam, when he isn’t being too loud. Leaf loves school and is especially happy that she now has a communication device that serves as her voice.

Before, Leaf sometimes felt frustrated, and others thought she was angry, when she was simply not being heard. Learning that she is autistic helped Leaf understand herself and how she experiences the world in her own unique way. She often wears headphones to help filter sounds that can feel overwhelming.

Leaf has a twin little brother named Liam, who is exactly 22 seconds younger than she is—and she never forgets it.
